St. Anne School sponsors a robust scouting program where boys in Elementary and Middle School have the opportunity to join Pack or Troop 872 and participate in a variety of stimulating activities.
The scouting program provides a structured setting where boys develop a sense of civic responsibility and a commitment to community service. The program also encourages the development of a moral compass guided by religious tradition. Participants are taught the importance of affirmative values such as fairness, courage, leadership and respect for others.
The program’s decision making and character-building activities enable those involved to discover, share and apply knowledge to their daily lives. The scouts participate in programs that include camping, hiking, swimming, kayaking, archery, cooking and first aid, just to name a few.
Activities are family orientated and family participation is encouraged, particularly in the Cub Scout program. For more information on the scouting program, please contact Cubmaster Marc Barbier ([email protected]
